The girl writes in her blog:
"Quite a few 'enlightened' girlfriends of mine have concluded that having an ACS boy on the arm is indeed a trophy.
"ACS boys are charming and entertaining to hang out with.
"What sets them apart from the rest is that air of self-confidence.
"Please do not be mistaken, this is unlike the chip on the SJI shoulder, which is sometimes an act of overcompensation for certain deeply-rooted insecurities.
"I must conclude that if you are looking for a life partner, do go for the true-blue RI boy'.
The STOMPer disagrees with the blogger:
"This was taken from a local website where a female schoolgirl was comparing the types of school boys she has dated.
"These boys are from prestigious schools.
"According to her, 'having an ACS boys on the arm is indeed a trophy'.
"She says that ACS boys are 'suave' -- the dictionary defines 'suave' as one who is polite, confident and relaxed, sometimes in an insincere way'.
"Does it mean that these ACS boys are sometimes insincere?
"She also concluded that 'some ACS boys are socially dysfunctional'.
"The word 'dysfunctional' means 'not following the normal patterns of social behaviour, especially with the result that someone cannot behave in a normal way or have a satisfactory life'.
"I hope these are her personal views and not the views of all Singapore schoolgirls."
