I want fair and equal treatment for all road users under the law with all being accountable. Cyclists who cause accidents and harm to other road users should be accountable for their own actions...right now cyclists are not accountable and are treated much better than other road users. For your lasts bastion and all that crap...go move to Liberia...total freedom..U can get shot at....and U can shoot back too...free for all...I do not believe in lawlessness

Freedom of choice does not equal lawlessness.

You can have rules for everything or you can craft rules only for issues that matter. A good government gets the balance right.

People can be held responsible for their actions without having to be burdened by endless red tape. In NZ insurance for cars is optional and the system works fine. If I hit someone I'm responsible. Lack of insurance does not mean lack of accountability.
