If the Israeli ambassador is surrounded by bodyguards, his own team will be around him. S'pore police officers will not get within close proximity. They, the Israelis only trust their own.

If they need real assistance, Security Branch or SecCom will provide back-up coz these chaps are all Cat 1 cleared. Your divisional police chaps may not have that clearance.

There has always an Israeli Embassy but the authorities are not prepared to lease them any govt or GLC properties as it is a security threat. PUB once erroneously agreed to lease but was told to withdraw.

If they are unable to secure a lease, the fallback position will be the Ambassdor's residence. Free drinks and snacks for policemen to ensure they patrol frequently despite the premises having one of those sign books for the cops.

Likely to be done by the Israelis themselves as police did not accede to their earlier request pertaining to security matters. They had to show they were under imminent threat. Bomb went off, no casualties?

Definitely not there. Moved many years ago. I think it is near Evans Rd vicinity. An ex-mata, retired one, has taken CISCO to court for wrongful arrest as he was on PI assignment near the embassy and kena arrested. Simon Suppiah is the man.
