Agree. When he is absent I worry. I remember when I merged his thread with another thread, he got so upset that he refused to post.

Funnily enough I was attracted to this forum due to the comical rantings of Clinton666 and the funny siggy of Bro KNNBCCB.. Me myself had received Clinton's all too famous ''retarded gay dog'' hairdryer once...In fact maybe almost everyone of us here kena by him too.. I did not bear any grudges against Clitoris because this is just part of the fun in the forum... Many of his angry threads are funny sometimes tinged with sarcastic humour praising the PAP.. Like him or loathe him, but colourful characters like Clinton makes this forum a fun place to be.. He himself had received barrage of abuse from forumers here and he steadily take the abuse in his stride.. Personally I think that he's The Favourite Villain here..

By all means relocate to a country with a lower cost of living. What gets to me are those quitters who whine about how materialistic Sinkieland is and yet the core reason for their emigration is to make/accumulate more $

I like to quote my Thai business partners commenting about me many times, "Joe you're one of those few crazy guys who dare to come Thailand and then burn the boat and bridge that brought you here" this is what he often say about me after I moved everything here in a forty footer container and sold my last possession in Singapore. For me it's about commitment.

I will say that this forum is unusual. The main audience are the lurkers and not the members.

Many like to watch but are afraid to participate or have identified with one or more members who share similar views. Many people also feel more comfortable with clear rules and moderation in place. I remember that QXP would singlehandedly put off people by his abuse which follows a template.

Here is an interestingly observation, I have yet to come across a single forum that lasted more than a year which was not moderated. This must be the exception. Anyone can recall any other.

The agenda of course is that it is catchment and captive area area for the porn site. Thus volumes, easy entry and little moderation would be the key. Though Porn and the like is not allowed here, a few can't tell the difference.

Nothing wrong with that. My suggestion is to make these lurkers become members as we want this forum to grow.

I am very modest, so i keep my good looks to myself. What for say it, as long as my wife think so is good enough. So no one see me to know. Also afraid I become like Ram and everyone make fun of me. Then i cannot tahan, go and take a swim.

It takes alot of courage to do that. Among singles, I found that women are more adventurous in this space. Seen many over the years in their late 20 and early 30s and it was not love. The common traits that I noticed are that they tend not to be loud, seem to love their books and literature, like to travel and without exception raised in an English speaking monolingual home.

Not sure if its maternal instincts but they tend to attend functions put up by Singapore / Malaysian High Commission etc. The men who are single tend to stay back after studies.

Could never figure out why.

When it comes to families, I also noticed that you will never come across a single child family or childless couple that migrated. Always big families. A sociologist friend of mind told me that it is likely that they have shaped their family to Singapore model where both parents work, must got out to expensive places, wear branded clothes so not enough to grow the family.

Then you have the man that is driven by entrepreneurial spirit to make a difference. Will make the move by early 30s, usually with engineering background from NUS or Poly and does alot of frabricating. As it is cheaper outside, they will set factories around the region or do trading.
