I have nothing against Windsor. But he's obviously your blue eye boy. He multiquote so long boh tai chi still can be moderator and ban Alamaking somemore. Other people multiquote half his length you fucked or infracted or banned by you liao. I have nothing against Windsor. Blue eye boy is nothing wrong. Who dont want to take advantage of that chance to power? Only the one keeping and breeding blue eye boy is something wrong.

Nothing wrong with multiquoting. What I can't stand is quoting a long message for a one lined reply.

As for this "Windsor" character I don't know him from Adam. He became involved in the debate about introducing more moderation into the forum. When the moderated section was created, I appointed singveld who was the one who campaigned for more control and simply added a few more at random chosen from those who participated in the thread in a civilized manner regarding the issue.

I don't know why he banned anybody. When I say what happened, I immediately reversed the ban. If he does it again, he'll be removed. He's supposed to patrol the moderated section only.

hey moneycollector, the moderated section have no traffic leh. Can we boost the traffic there to relieve the massive traffic jam in the courtyard cafe. I suggest we only let people who have certain level of reputations to able to post in the courtyard cafe, the new comer and people with low reputation only can post on moderated section. It can be very low like 50 reputation points etc at least get moderated section moving and also reduce the traffic jam of the main one. The current situation you have one folder with massive number of threads generated, and the rest very low number of threads, so it is good to balance out the traffic. What said you?

If there's a massive traffic jam here, it's because it's the most popular section. Why interfere? Let the consumer decide whether he wants the hustle and bustle of this section or the quiet serenity of the moderated section.

but this thread is about abuse of power of mods( or so I tink or tot..) Having more regulations ain't gonna work..
Reason why this section is overwhelmed is precisely because its supposed to be unmoderated.. If i am gona indulge in goody 2 shoes debate... i wouldn't be in this site!
I did notice you have been doing alot of work in the moderated section by posting alot of good topics.... but threads do not go beyond 2 pages.. you should be able to figure that 1 out..

Because of the massive of number of threads generated there every minute, you will notice a lot of threads are of the same subject, the reason, most people just look at first page of this folder, if they do not see the topic they want to talk about, they generate another one, so the courtyard section is very messy.

So by moving some traffic to moderated section, you have a cleaner courtyard and a moderated which is ALIVE, not dead like now.

I don't want to force moderation upon anybody. I do move threads but only to what I think are more appropriate unmoderated folders.
