I'm coming to visit!BELARUS
Is Bestest.
i been living in Australia for 10 years now and became Australian the 4th year after we migrated and renouced my singapore citisenship one week later.
all i can say is not all can adapt living in Australia if u like crowded places and very fast life style and u have the 1st class mentality and u back home in singapore then it be very hard to adapt in Australia. ( when i was still in sg i got to know one manager she migrated to Australia and after 2 years later she came back to sg. well i not surprise she was very sombong (proud) person)
people will say the tax in Australia is high but they failed to say that their salary also is high because of mininum wages and to me these people are greedy and not contented. try the same job and work in singapore the salary is 3 times lower and even sg got "low" tax u get lesser then what u got in Australia salary.
the food price here can be $10 to $12 depend where u eat but the portion is huge i normally share with my wife (if i divide by two it is $5 or $6 dollar) and if i take away i at home i can eat lunch and dinner. i went back to sg and ate the same thing 5 years ago i ate the same thing and it cost me $3.50 the portion was really small that i need to buy another bowl so total is $7 dollar still i not full! i had to buy other food lol.( i not sure the price in sg goes up after 5 years)
i knew many sgrean (mostly ex sgrean) they are very contented living in Australia
for me i glad i migrated to Australia everyday is a blessing
what was it in the other sub-forum? the cowards never started and the weak died along the way...My hunch is that those who lived overseas previously (work, studies) will assimilate better than those who didn’t.
An ex-colleague of mine moved to Perth shortly after his honeymoon. But stay wasn’t long. Came back after less than 2 years.
I have several friends who migrated in the 80s and 90s. They share one thing in common - very independent and resilient. None came back. Except for hols.
agree absolutely, as compared to the hardy hongkies who can assimilate and blend-in with other cultures - but main thing is the resilience and tenacity that they possessMy hunch is that those who lived overseas previously (work, studies) will assimilate better than those who didn’t.

I don’t think they managed to blend in with other cultures but for sure, their ‘beat die never run’ attitude deserves respect. Ditto Malaysians.
HKies will continue to stick to themselves unlike Indians who assimilate much better with the Ang Mos.

actually, it's not that complicated. That part of the world was and is very hot. Literally, searing hot. Can go and look at the temps. Fairer skin ones just died. They are quite closely related to some Europeans, except that they had to evolve dark skin to survive. Why Indians are hoarding the main part of this place. And why they are black... and as move side ways NS and EW get fair skins.
Must be something happening there long ago.
Maybe a big black stone hit this place and blacken their skins reminding them of God revenge on them.
napa fire followed by santa rosa fire followed the following year by campfire wildfire in paradise, ironic that it was called “campfire” when 15k buildings were burned, 12k homes were lost, and over 69 lives were taken.lazarus thread. not sure why it even started back up... no energy to dig. too many shrimps on that barbie.... wait... didn't CA have a barbie some time ago too?
