With 2m FTs in S'pore if each were to donate $5 each, they would have collected $10m already.

FTs are not stupid. They are here to plunder.

Only FT Steven Riady donated $1m . But then he already made tonnes of money from LIPPO in S'pore. What is $1m only.

I notice that some condos projects around Great World are being built by Lippo.

Giving to a host country is good PR.

In the hey days of NKF, during one lunch, I gave $3 for an old and sickly uncle asking for a meal in a heartland hawker centre.

My former colleagues who donated monthly to NKF said I was "stupid".

At least I know that $3 went to the uncle when I saw ordered a plate of chicken rice
with the money I gave.

Do charity, no need middleman.
Doing business, must cut middleman.

ur former colleague is damn stupid yet scold u stupid, really pity him/her. and lucky he/she ur former colleague liao, this kind of people got to keep clear of thm if not soon or later become stupid like them. me also totally no more money go through "middle man" for donation, directly to the poor in the street....

Those who donated FAT cheques for tax rebate, gets "live" broadcasted publicity.

Peasants who called in paid for the wayang and advertisement.
