A friend in HR shared something with me over the weekend, our youths appear to have a lot of work experiences during job interviews. Eg. An applicant with accounting qualifications was a gym membership peddler in her last job. They have experience in many different industries or trade but if you dig deeper, it is because that they job hop very often. Some got displaced by COVID, some don't want to work on saturdays or OT, some want at least 2-3 days WFH, etc.
Social-distancing in workplace created a whole generation of youth who demands mandatory WFH. She said that for the same workload, local uni-grads will take up a $3500 post with 2 days WFH every week, rather than $4500 five full-days work week.
