上图就是该旅展示的GWJ320型履带式战壕挖掘机,这型挖掘机使用的是第一代的60-1型履带式中型通用底盘,该底盘使用520马力的12150LB型12缸柴油机作为动力输出,马力较大,而且由于越野能力和承载能力良好,所以它同时也被83式152mm自行加榴炮、89式120mm自行反坦克炮和89式122mm自行火箭炮使用。不过和那些自行火炮的单人驾驶室不同,GWJ320在该型底盘基础上设置了一个并列布置的双人装甲驾驶室,虽然该驾驶室只能防普通的7.62mm弹药和炮弹破片,但由于该型机械并不是在敌火威胁严重的情况下使用,所以这个防护也算是够用了。
