Been to all the Opp run estates- Hougang, Pongol East, Aljunied... Seriously cannot tell where WPS Territories end and PAP starts. WPS strategy seems to be working. They have debunked the fear that things will fall apart once they take over. Kudos to Potong Pasir under Chiam as well. Now that we got the bread and butter municipal issues out of the way , time to focus on the national issues -FTs, Transport , high costs of living... Etc of which its all the PAP fault!!

I stayed in WP hougang for 15 years till 2005 and then in pap hougang from 2005 till now. Went thru at least 3 paint job but now in my 8th year in pap hougang, still no sign of a new coat of paint.
Very easy to differentiate WP wards from pap estates. Just look at the Hdb block number signs, WP have an unique color scheme of yellow and red.

Both father and son grc are rats infested. That show how clean pap grc are.
Its an uphill task for WP to run Ajunied Hougang Senkang. But if they win more GRCs in future, it will help them tremendously to build economies of scale and delivering better value. I do not think PAP TCs give residents enough value for the charges paid.
