the pop white paper says 2/3 of locals will be in PMET jobs by 2030. what about the other 1/3... what's being done for them?

the cost of living isnt going to drop anytime soon, but the other 1/3 are facing wage stagnation. since our right wing government finds taxation anathema to its core beliefs, wage increases is the only way to help this group.

any singaporean willing to engage in full time work should see their income raised to at least $36,000 per annum for a start. levies collected from foreign workers should be diverted to support this group of singaporeans. especially the menfolk who are expected to lay down their lives for country at a tender age of 18. with 2 members of a household working, this would take the household income to around 2/3 of median level.

that's a good start in ensuring economic dignity for all singaporeans willing to work.

Agree with Laksaboy. Pappies didnt build all the new infrastructures, rail lines for fun. This is to cater the potential increase of the population. How to do that? By giving more citizenships to new shitizens and the usual excuse claiming that native Sinkies don't breed enough. You can fuck like rabbits but they will still bring in these foreigners and attracting them with Pink ICs.
