MY LUNCH/DINNER/BREAKFAST/SNACK/SUPPER Thread for sharing your meals/food/cooking

What is that?
Oh some potato carrot and cabbage soup with tofu. Supposed to eat with macaroni and steamed chicken.

This is leftover from one of the dinners over weekend. Wife's cooking.

I didnt take the macaroni for lumch.

Chicken and fish? Home made?
You know your food

Home made? I wish, only know how to cook sphagetti and that was only because of the pandemic. Recently bought some red snapper fillet that was on sale. First thing I did was to search youtube on "how to cook red snapper"! Finally settled on pan frying the fish fillet. The video forgot to mention that you have to press the fish down as you are frying, so the fish fillet turned out U shaped. Trial and error

Share some pics.

What seasoning do you use? how do you get around problem of periphery of grill not as hot as centre? Find that the steaks tend to be different wellness

You have to believe me that I do not buy less than AAA steaks (almost always striploin, but once in a while, boneless rib eye, or rib steak or tenderloin).
I do not know how to post photos.
I use David's No Salt Steak spice, but recently, have put some organic steak spice, with salt, on the other side, because our youngest child, likes some salt.
Although it is still summer, I will bake diced potatoes with shredded cabbage, Vidalia onions, with olive oil, ground pepper, basil, and paprika.
I love to eat.

Cerified Angus. $18.98/lb. $41.84/kg.

Thats more than double the price of the AA striploin I bought on Monday.

AA tasted pretty good to me and my family.

It looks like you are eating leftovers that have been in the fridge for more than 3 days.
May be you should try to eat your weekend leftovers by Tue and Wed.

Yeah ideally.

Situation is that wife tends to cook on Weekends. Lunch and Dinner. So lots of leftovers from Lunch and Dinner for the rest of the week.

And the rest of the family doesnt eat leftovers much. And we dont eat leftovers for lunch and dinner on Weekends either.

So I am the garbage can/composter. LOL!

Got food to eat happy lah. If there are no leftovers usually I will open a can of tuna, eat pepperoni strips, and olives (already expired but still in the syrup in fridge).

You just eat sweet sour pork that's it? Or just one of the dishes? No rice? Wah those pineapples and peppers look nice and fresh!
Yes, there's rice. Didn't want to spoil the picture with too many things in it. I used to snigger and turn my nose up when I see other people take photos of their food before they eat. Now, because of this thread, I've joined the army of food porn producers :)
