I always wonder, despite the feminist movement, does a woman long for a strong shoulder to lean on? If you don't find it in your husband you look for it in another man. Hopefully it is just a platonic relationship and nothing physical but the weak-minded may carry this a bit further especially if there is hero worship. That is why these intra-office affairs often happen between couples several ranks in the hierarchy apart. I believe it is usually an asymmetrical relationship.
