I have utmost sympathy for those people, whether its the americans or sporeans, to go ga ga over a guy who has screw up speech pattern! Its fucking pathetic they are in such denial mode!

The people who are on denial mode are you two, mate, when you insist Obama is gonna lose when Obama is going full speed ahead to win, while the McCain campaign has started to hit each other publicly even before the end.

When you have to go down onto the lowest common denominator to insist that Obama's speech ability is one excuse on why he shouldn't be President, it shows you have fired all your live rounds in your gun, and you have nothing left, not even blanks. Your reasoning is simply abysmal.

I will leave you to lick your wounds mate. Take care.

How many times do i have to repeat myself? WOULD U LET A PERSON WITH SCREW UP SPEECH PATTERN TO BE A CEO OF A COMPANY IF U HAVE A CHOICE? NO ONE WITH THE RIGHT MIND WOULD SAY YES. SO WHY IS IT DIFFERENT IN THE CASE OF THE POST OF PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES?

IF U HAVE TO CHOOSE A PERSON TO BE A GENERAL MANAGER OF A SAY...HOTEL. WOULD U CHOOSE A PERSON WITH SCREW UP SPEECH PATTERN, WHO ALWAYS SPEAK HESITANTLY, 'ER......AND......ER......AND...'? WOULD U?

its a bit late to say skin color has anything to with the election. the electoral college has already selected obama. obama has crossed 270 votes now that nevada is leaning blue today. skin color is irrelevant when mathematics have already made the choice.

case closed.

Ah well, I have already refuted that argument a while ago, while recognising that some Americans won't vote on colour, the economy transcends race.

And when West Virginians, some of them racist, bark out that they will vote for Obama because of the economy, its sums up my basis of that argument on race already.

You say America will vote for McCain based on race; I say you're peddling a case that was true in the 70s and 80s, but is not so true anymore. As I said, when there's a bad economy, more often than not, the economy transcends race. Because all will be affected; regardless of race.

Oh the John McCain rage. How impressive. Seriously, do you think that will make you somehow reverse everything and help McCain win or even help you win the argument against me?

You seriously need a time out dude. Go and rest yourself; it doesn't help your cause when you are hollering and shouting for no reason.

Well, I hope you aren't insulting Obama's late parents. Because even if the marriage of Obama's parents ended in divorce, Obama wasn't at fault. And now as Obama's married to a South side black, I believe most blacks in the US support Obama strongly. He has 90% plus support in the black community.

So I don't believe you can claim he isn't black enough. After all, he has won both almost all-white districts and all-black districts during his primaries, and also now in the opinion polls.

IN the us they believe in the 1 drop rule. U have 1 drop of black blood ur black period.

I have mixed race fren half white/black. Yet he calls himself black. It's that simple.

Ur white in the US if ur 100% white and non hispanic or at least look white.

That still doesn't erase the fact that one's genes is half-white, half-black. And so Obama's the best candidate on the issues and on the merit, and that's why even some racists in West Virginia are voting for Obama, despite their racial misgivings.

SO ur saying they are voting for obama cos he's not really black????

What pills have u taken this morning????

He looks black in appearance. The only way he appears white is to put him side by side with a pure black.

What I have been saying consistently over the last few months is that, based on the issues and of the merits, Obama's the best candidate, regardless of the fact is he black or not.

Some of you chaps just keep on harping on the race issue only because you wanna side track the whole thing and keep people distracted from the main issues- which is the economy.

So regardless of race, if the economy is bad, it affects everyone. And because Obama's more credible with economical issues than McCain, more people will vote for Obama on that basis, rather than race.

She is so dumb that she does not realise that NBC and Tina Fey are
making fun of her on every saturday night.

Enjoy.

I'm glad to prove you wrong. And its a shame when you use his middle name to subtly suggest somehow that he's a muslim. I mean, do you choose your own name immediately after you're born?

And besides it was his American mum, a white woman, who decided with Obama's father- of the same name- to choose Obama's name. And Obama is proud of his heritage. People shouldn't be ashamed of their heritage and their names.

I didn't suggest he's a Muslim. It doesnt matter to me he's Muslim or not.

Look at the big picture! Stop watching your CNN, BBC, CNA. Try tuning into Phoenix, Al Jazeera etc, you will realise how "fundamentalist" the Americans (esp. those in the South) are when it comes to racial issues.

The United States doesn't consist of the South only. And besides Obama is making headway in the South, in places like North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, where there are a lot of votes in the electoral college. The fact that Obama's running even with McCain in important southern states where Republicans usually win is already saying tons about Obama's campaign.

The economy has been the great equaliser where racism isn't as important as a factor in previous years compared to the bad economy. When both a black and white factory worker in North Carolina gets retrenched, both lose, no matter the race.

Plus, where's the Midwest states? And how about the Hispanic vote, who's going to Obama in bigger margins than Kerry had? He has 70% to 75% of the latino vote, and that's gonna help in states like Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico.

Its a Mccain win la. Get used to it. No need for history lessons. The US media is biased towards Obama. But reality on the ground is for Mccain.
