...........................
Berbatov is a very specific type of player, someone who can only play a certain way. He is not suited for the uptempo game that Man Utd likes to play. Some people forget that he was in the Bayer Leverkusen team that knocked Man Utd out of the Champions League a few years ago. When he was at Leverkusen and at Spurs, there were times when commentators and analysts said that he put on "masterclasses" in forward play, especially when he was playing alone upfront, with his flicks, shielding of the ball, passing, knock ons, control, etc.....
don't worry, ah wayne, I am with u
all you 'told-u-so's, if it is chelsea who is dropping pts & Man U continuing to win, then u would be saying 'Man U very experienced in running the last lap unlike the others ...'
all the 事后诸葛 。。。。wise after the event ....
WoW! relac relac, getting all hyped up for action ? .... forgive u lah, can understand why your sudden urge to settle everything with your fists ... the adrenalin is pumping ... whether CCB appear or not, all the best !If Man U wins EPL this season, I'll let you have three free punches on me. If not, I'll take two free punches on you. On?

It looks like Chelsea will go on to win the double, BPL and FA cup. I don't see them dropping any points in their last 5 games, especially after watching the performances from Liverpool and Spurs last night. Good for them, they deserve it, but I believe that part of their success is because the owner has a heavy involvement in managing the club. It's true that Fergie and Wenger have had varying degrees of success with their clubs, but the clubs are starting to feel the consequences of being managed by all-controlling managers. Funnily enough, Roman will be the only guy at Chelsea who won't be pleased, he really wanted the champions league.Man U empty handed this season xcept for mickey mouse cup. Toothless against blackburn, likely to lose against Man City.
They play like kittens against Blackburn, lack height, lack tenacity, lack ideas. Berbatov is constantly fustrated, he does not like to get rough - and Blackburn plays rough. One comical scene, he was down covering his face, blackburn didn't kick ball out, and when Man U got the ball, they also didnt play the ball out, oblivious to him lying on the floor...
nani the prima donna cannot get a decent cross, if not, constantly shoot into legs...
with this finishing, how to win? They need someone of drogba calibre, who can bash....no one can bash then. Macheda looks like got potential but he off game so long....rusty
hopefully the new mexico tortilla can be better. This season gone liao...
Wenger also has 25 million to blow. Arsenal can easily pop in to grab Benzema with the French connection. Signs are indicating that this summer, Arsenal will be finally splashing in the transfer market.
On the contrary, that's when managers are shown up - who is genius & who is run-of-the-mill.In even-numbered years (World Cup or Euro years) it's very difficult for managers, especially managers of top flight clubs, to have their minds set on player buy-ins early. They'd wait for the tournaments to end and see who're the rising stars.
The shrewd Managers made their move prior to the World Cup, getting better bargain before rather than after World Cup and also showing the world their judgment & eye for talent.
Ferdinand should keep his mouth shut on such matters.RIO FERDINAND says Carlos Tevez was a lazy trainer so he could conserve all his energy for match days.
The former Manchester United striker, 26, will be going full throttle for bitter rivals City on Saturday.
And United defender Ferdinand has revealed why the little Argentine seems to have boundless energy in games.
He said: "Carlos is an interesting character. When he was at United, he saved all his energy for the games - he didn't really go over the top at training.
"He worked hard in the gym - he was a professional in that sense - but everything he did was geared towards the match at the weekend.
"You could see him conserving his energy during the week and then laying it all on the line out on the pitch.
"That's not the way I operate, I have to train at a high level every day. But it works for Carlos and he can be a real handful to defend against."

Ferguson picked up Rooney after Euro 2004 and Ronaldo after World Cup 2006. Wenger picked up Henry after World Cup 1998 and Ashravin after Euro 2008. There're many more examples of course. Too many to list all.
