The boy is from Ajax. Fearless and puts in the tackle when its needed. I'd expect him to get better with playing time. Next big player after Pogba. Sad to say, I dun see any of the other young players making an impact at senior level.

Old fart is an admirer of both Larsson and Blanc. I believe the former was on a short term contract.

Sheringham has that knack to be at the right place at the right time. A big game player. IMHO, all three are 'intelligent' players. As far as Zlatan goes,he's looking for a final paycheck. a fat one preferably to fund his retirement.

If it's true, then they're doing all they can to help LVG. The players are just as much to blame for this sorry state of the club. I've heard some players do not want to play for the dutch man. In any case,if LVG goes, these players should leave as well.

Clueless: Manchester United players turn on Louis van Gaal after Tottenham shambles
Respect for LVG has gone as club goes into meltdown

LOUIS VAN GAAL pinned the blame on his Manchester United players when he started making tactical changes at half-time against Tottenham.
By the time they got back to the dressing room after Sunday’s 3-0 mauling at White Hart Lane, United’s furious players had turned on him.
Respect for Van Gaal, supposedly one of the great managerial minds, has gone.

These players are openly questioning him, wondering out loud how the club can seriously keep him beyond the end of the season.
In particular, his treatment of Marcus Rashford, whose five goals have got Van Gaal out of jail in recent weeks, surprised them.

The Dutchman waded into the 18-year-old and told the forward he was spending too much time hunting the ball in wide areas.
Van Gaal also told the striker he had failed to make any impression on the Premier League’s best defence by making runs behind Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.
Rashford, who scored the winner against Manchester City on March 20, had been starved of service from Juan Mata and Anthony Martial in the first half.

Instead of giving Rashford the chance to rectify it after the break, Van Gaal humiliated the kid by hauling him off at half-time.
What followed stunned United’s players because, instead of promoting Martial to centre-forward, he put Ashley Young up front.
Over the next 45 minutes LVG bamboozled Young — making his first appearance since victory at Liverpool on January 17 — by playing him in three different positions.

After this savage result, which left United four points off fourth-placed City, there is open dressing-room dissent again.
At the final whistle, Van Gaal was entitled to point the finger at Marcos Rojo for turning his back on Alderweireld when Spurs scored their second.
He had told Rojo his opponent was one of the best headers of the ball at Spurs, but he failed to track the centre-half’s run in the 74th minute. Van Gaal’s criticism was fair.
The commitment and attitude of Memphis Depay and Matteo Darmian was also questioned after their latest pitiful contribution.

Memphis, sent on in the 76th minute with United 3-0 down, appeared completely uninterested. He has ruffled the feathers of the first-team squad since his £25million arrival from PSV Eindhoven last summer.
Assistant boss Ryan Giggs, one of the greatest left wingers in the history of the sport, is said to despair of Memphis.

Although the Dutchman initially flattered with two goals on his Champions League bow against Bruges, his form has tailed off.
Of the 33 players Van Gaal has used in the Premier League this season, Memphis is not alone in failing to impress.
Darmian, who had come on at right-back eight minutes earlier for the injured Timothy Fosu-Mensah, was rinsed by Christian Eriksen out on the wing.

The Italy international has lost his place at right-back and been warned his place in Antonio Conte’s Euro 2016 squad is in real danger.
Darmian, a £12.9m buy from Torino last July, seemed detached during a disastrous second half. Eight minutes after coming on with the score goalless, United were 3-0 down.
There is also the deepening mystery of Wayne Rooney’s absence. At training on Friday, LVG agreed for the striker to join the squad and be a sub at White Hart Lane.
Although Rooney has not played since injuring his knee in the 2-1 defeat at Sunderland on February 13, he had successfully trained all week.
Yet when Van Gaal sat down for his weekly press conference on Friday afternoon, he announced that Rooney was not fit enough to travel. Instead he deferred his comeback and told the striker to play in last night’s Under-21 game with Middlesbrough.
Van Gaal made a pointed remark about Rooney’s condition at Spurs by indicating he was still some way off peak physical fitness.

United will need some energy in their FA Cup quarter-final replay at West Ham tomorrow because the performance at Spurs was unacceptable.
Van Gaal’s authority has been eroded over the past two seasons and the aura has pretty much disappeared. He is yesterday’s man.
The playing staff are acutely aware of that and are far more confrontational with him than in his first season.
He was fatally undermined by executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward earlier this year when he asked senior players about Van Gaal’s methods. The responses were not complimentary.
Woodward is a frequent dressing-room visitor after matches and he will know that the atmosphere is not good again.
Despite that, visitors to the club’s London offices in Stratton Street are left with the impression that Van Gaal will see out the final year of his contract.
If that really is the plan, he will have to sweet talk the dressing room.

He's known to be abrasive and the players should get accustom to it but it's no excuse for LVG to single out an 18 year old kid for the deplorable display on the field. On the contrary, the defensive minded Dutch man will play Fellaini as DM to help Smalling contain Caroll. I expect United to win this by an odd goal and lose the league match this weekend. Seriously, we'd be farking lucky if Fellaini dun end up between the sticks.
