A 32-year-old man was arrested after he was seen naked and pacing back and forth near a bus stop along Jalan Sankam in Sembawang on Dec. 8 morning.

Speaking to Shin Min Daily News, a witness said members of the public nearby alerted the police after noticing that the man was apparently in "an abnormal mental state".

The witness added that while he had been doing morning exercises every weekend, this was the first time he saw the man.

As there was a park nearby with heavy footfall, the witness said he was worried that children might be affected by the scene.

Police statement​

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said they received a call for assistance at around 7:10am on Dec. 8.

The man was arrested for appearing nude in public.

Police investigations are ongoing.
