All sources of Islamic rulings come from the Quran and hadiths. Period.
Sharia, doctrines and fatwas are all derived from Quran and Hadiths. Evidence is produced from both sources in the development of Sharia, doctrines and fatwas and they are all an open book.

me think agong should jus declare martial law; appoint himself to be the caretaker PM.

My bet is Muhyiddin will be the 10th PM. Why? Agong is not keen on PH because of its strong affiliation to the DAP and by choosing Anwar, it will also be against the wishes of the majority of his people. Also, since GPS and GRS have already pledged their alliances with PN, it merely needs about 10 more votes from the BN side to gain the majority, which should be a piece of cake when the Agong will interview and get their nominations from all the 30 from BN today.

Anwar is always full of bull-shit. Just like on the following day after the GE15, he announced that he already had the majority, but refused to name who. Yesterday, his party also said that the King had appointed Anwar to be the Interim PM, which turned out to be false.

For a commoner to reveal publicly what is discussed privately with the King, without his expressed permission, in Malay society, is extreme kurang ajar!

Of course, if sarawak and sabah gets the 33% of seats in parliament they requested, everything changes.
After many decades, sabah and sarawak leaders have formed a union. It baffles me why this was not done very much earlier.

GRS, GPS have agreed to work as a bloc, says source​

PETALING JAYA: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) have agreed to work as a bloc in deciding who to form the government with, according to a source.
The source also said GRS has effectively left it to GPS to decide on the bloc’s decision, with the Sabah coalition to follow whatever its Sarawak counterpart decides on.

“(GPS chairman) Abang Johari Openg is the spokesman for the bloc,” the source added.
It is understood that GRS’ decision to work as a bloc with GPS has ruffled feathers in PN.

GRS chairman Hajiji Noor also leads Bersatu’s Sabah chapter. Muhyiddin is the Bersatu president.
On Saturday, Abang Johari said GPS would form the federal government with PN, Barisan Nasional and GRS.
Two days later, Hajiji reiterated that GRS was backing Muhyiddin as prime minister to form the government.
However, BN has decided not to back PH or PN in forming the government, saying it would remain in the opposition.

Abang Johari also later said GPS would leave it to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to decide on who the next prime minister should be.
GPS leaders were expected to meet the King at 11am today
