early this morning, Lee Kuan Yew was suddenly alert and he told his nurse that he wanted to eat Jalan Kayu roti prata kosong and KFC.

the nurses were very happy.

the senior nurse quickly called Lee Hsien Loong and asked for his permission to feed Lee Kuan Yew with roti prata kosong and KFC. Junior Lee was not convince and insisted doctor for a detailed report

That's usually a sign that they're about to die. Suddenly every energetic, appetite coming back, laughing and joking. All the tell-tale signs.

One last hurrah before kicking the bucket.

3 siblings have 3 different expressions when they are visiting their father lee kuan yew.

1) Lee Hsien Loong is always very stressful and nervous and sometimes his hands are shaking.

2) Lee Wei Ling is always sad and sometimes crying and sobbing.

3) Lee Hsien Yang, is always very cool and chit chatting with the nurses and always very calm and friendly and behaving like a salesman.

1) His reason, his brains for political existence is going to disappear.

2) Filial daughter (or son?). Will probably miss those wonderful days of him washing his own underwear.

3) Probably trying to chat up one of the nurses and then bang her inside a locked X-ray room. Old habits die hard.

this ICU bed is at least 2000sgd per day.

usually people are on this icu for 2 - 5 days after critical surgery.
after that, they are able to breath on their own.

it is astonishing to know that people are on this kind of icu for nearly a month.

$2k per day is sup sup sui for those folks.

usually people are on this icu for 2 - 5 days after critical surgery.
after that, they are able to breath on their own.
