Yeah, i noticed as well. They din reply to LTA.

Even LTA has to read newspaper reports.

Can imagine how they will treat lesser mortals.

Well done malaysia, why need to response to noise from the south.
Love to see lhl kena slap.

Guess no u turn.
It's getting to be more expensive staying in Johor. Dunno whether it is still worth it. You just don't know what else the govt got cooking.
I'm just too disappointed with them.

Classic, classic.
2 more hours to go
Maybe no officisl announcement, just direct implementation.

The first link jam seems to be back after short break around early-mid July. The 2nd has not reached the previous peak in May yet.

Why LTA "have to" match what msia is charging? Not that they are paying tol to msia.

Malaysian bus drivers staging strike at woodlands checkpoint

Yep, rode past at 7am and thought got so horrible jam, nobody on the buses but snaked all the way back. Day 1 already cannot make it. Not boleh.

Wow. Bus strike.
Looks like there's going to be blow back from the implementation.

This has been agreed upon since the beginning of TOL between both countries.. about matching $1 to $1.. $2 to $2..& so on
So there's nothing wrong for S'pore to adjust it to match when the M'sia side increase even without officially inform to LTA..
Likewise M'sia side can also do the same if S'pore increase TOL overnight without any consent to their gov

I think the agreement is "can" match, not "have to". They can choose not to match it.

No bus to JB this weekend??

SINGAPORE - Witnesses reported that many Malaysian registered buses were refusing to continue their journey into Singapore at Woodlands. The "strike" by the bus drivers caused heavy traffic congestion at the Checkpoint. Get the full story from The Straits Times.

The Land Transport Authority said on its Twitter account at 8.13am that bus services 160, 170 170x and 950 are currently not travelling to Johor Baru due to impeded traffic flow at the checkpoint. - See more at: http://news.asiaone.com/news/malays...r-checkpoint-says-report#sthash.lItzbt1v.dpuf
