Hi sis,... Sorry abt d bro thingie.

Yes, urs was an RCT.

NO idea why no Crown?

Crowning is a must to prevent tooth fracture.

One more thing since the heady days of pre 2002 ..... In a more open singapore where ppl are more aware GP prices Hv remained steady post 2002 or a few years after that.

Some Hv even reduced prices slightly.

No prob...guess freedom sounds like a masculine name...

My dentist mentioned if I did bridging then I need crowning I think...but she did seal it up..

Glad her rates were cheap and just within walking distance to my place too!

When I first moved to Johor, I had a hard time finding a church.

Finally I found The Cathedral of The Sacred Heart.

Those days no aircon.

Very hot..

Now they have aircon freezing cold.

0745am English mass.

Mandarin later.

Fr. Lionel Pretty good with his homilies.

At Immaculate Conception which I first visited I even attended two language mass Bahasa n Eng.

Now I go there for 07:00am English mass. The Chinese father who preaches sometimes at the07:00am service is pretty good. In fact really good.

I went all d way to Masai too and found a small church there.

I'm looking for something nearby even if a small chapel will be good.

But dun Hv.

Thanks for sharing. Yes, there's a St Theresa's in Masai according my online research :)

If you have the time to travel further, there's Christ the King in Kulai - been to that one, a small chapel-like church, as my parents are over there.

Looking fwd to exploring the jb churches when I move over in about 2 years time.

Ur lucky she din rip u apart.

in the late '90s and early 2000, medical costs were not widely publicised.

Social media n internet penetration was not as significant as today. No low cost carriers. So it was hard to compare.

possibly that's y prices hv remained stable or even reduced in many instances now coz there is an option to take LCC n get it done overseas.

For bridging a crown is a must since you take the adjacent teeth as support to fix ur extracted tooth.

All my RCTs are done by the HOD at the prices I mentioned.

if ur in Jb For the Good Friday service, I think the Cathedral is a better idea coz of the heat n aircon.

you need to be an hour or more in advance to find parking/place to sit inside main church. Else you will be in one of the adjacent rooms.

$300 for root canal plus crown? Wow, that is a super good deal, crown all cost above $1k the last I checked a few years ago.

I was quoted $4-5000 for root canal at NDC.

I did it overseas for just $300 during my holiday.

The hospital was 5* with super specialists in attendance. EVEN with airfare it won't be 4~5,000

yes.... somemore material based. $1k like minimim liddat many years back.

lately I nvr chk

Water rationing might be coming to you soon in Johor, if there is no rain for the next 2 weeks.

This is what happens if ur over reliant on rains and not far sighted enough to build Dams to collect precious rainwater.

They should Hv thought of it all d more since they r selling water to spore

Root canal treatment only without crown....but it still seems like a good deal...

How often does this rainless spell occur and how much should Johor set aside to look at alternative water supply?

Is the profit from selling water to Singapore worth a dam?

One of their water treatment plants is built by Singapore. Johor is still quite backward in terms of infrastructure. Its environmental protection record is dismal. Even their otters and crocodiles are migrating to Singapore, thanks to coastal developments like at Puteri Harbour, Danga Bay and Senibong Cove.

Malaysia has so much rain fall and so much rain per year. Why didn't they build large reservoirs just to catch these rain waters. If they could, that will be great. They should also considering building a few water recycling plant all over Malaysia.

I dun even think they need to worry about recycling.

All they need to do is HARVEST RAIN WATER.

They hv failed so miserably here.

They hv assumed that the regular rains will always be regular!

Im surprised by the foresight of their town planners.

No matter how much Malaysian s may hate us, The state of Johor has largely developed And advanced only because of Singapore $s

Drought is likely to persist until mid-March. So get ready for water rationing in Johor. After which if it extends until end March, then get ready for water rationing in Singapore.
