The chinese equivalent will be "一剑见血“。
动之以情,晓之以理,协之以力,诱之以利,绳之以法。

well aware of who (in the plural) you're exactly referring to. thanks for the reminder. that's why the very public damage and potential repercussions that are being inflicted by siblings is not in the interest of sg, sinkies, and positive agents of sg, but their own selfish narcissistic obsession. instead of aiding these 2 clowns in promoting their destructive agendas and selfish personal grievances, agents and career serpents of sg in the bureaucracy, former and current, with personal dislike of the current regime should set differences aside and put the national interest first. instead some are coming out of the cowardy woodwork and hiding behind so called anynomity online to add fuel to the greenish wildfire, game of thrones style. they should be ashamed and be exposed. either leave the service or shut up if they can fall so easily to these dual royal clowns' antics and tantrums. the bigger picture and the larger underworld out there is beyond the grasp of these 2 royal bozos and their clueless cheerleaders.
The siblings have made it plain they think Singapore is better off without their Brother in command with his unelected Wife pulling strings. If LHLs tenure had been stellar we could dismiss all they say. It hasn't. So why shouldn't we listen to information from the inside track. More damage may be done by continuing as we have done so far.
unfortunately for his siblings more than 69% believe he's doing a terrific job.

Nor from me but merely trying to point out that there are forces out there relishing this feud - not scaremongering but just stating facts - any sign of weakness is taken as weakness. This debacle has just unearthed how fragile and vulnerable the island is to pressures of external forces who would lean more heavily now - so my comment has nothing to do with serial civil servants but the gathering storm from outside.
Not really. They think he is safer than the opposition. Do they really think he is the best leader in the PAP ?
It also shows that both LHY and LWL are no match to Ho Ching when it comes to clear and calm argument. Their standards pale in comparison. So many FB messages are but smoke without fire whereas Ho Ching' one single FB explanation did the job clean-cut. The chinese equivalent will be "一剑见血“。If LHY and LWL still care about their reputation, and not stumble and fumble any more, just come out openly and apologize that their accusations are baseless and they are blinded by their own prejudices and bias.

Looking at this photo Singapore is indeed heaven on earth, make me wanna cum, I mean come home and forget about Bkk. Quitter regret syndrome now, too late for me.
Typo error?= Terrible

Despite the hooha in the foreign press, I don't get the sense that foreign confidence in SG has eroded because of the Lee spat. International players are used to far worse feuds, scandals, and political upheavals in other countries. What they see is that the PAP still has a firm grip on power and the people of SG (namely the 70%) still support the govt strongly. No change.
All this bullshit is actually distracting people from the real issue, which is the economic gloom that has descended over SG in the past several months. The rest of the world is not doing great but neither is the sky falling (yet). SG already seems to be going into the toilet. Look at all the unused office spaces building up, Mount Elizabeth hospital practically empty on a working Friday, rental arrears increasing, more and more taxi drivers on the road, everyone saying it is very quiet everywhere, etc. This has gone on for some time and the govt seems to be asleep at the switch. Having a Lee saga now is only a distraction.
By year end, Singapore will likely be in recession and jobless rate will be going up significantly.
National Heritage Board has just announced there was a typo in our national anthem.
The correct title should be
Malu-lah Singapura !!
never been to oxley road but i doubt there a clear field of fire for u to shoot 120mm. a few pounds of C4 more effective.

Ho Ching somehow believes that acting on behalf of the "PMO" gives her license to take LKY's personal belongings and interfere with the estate. (How does she act on behalf of PMO, despite having no official position in PMO?) Moreover, the personal items do not belong to the PMO and are not theirs to loan. This oversteps the legal rights of the PMO.
Wei Ling and myself do not object in principle to lending LKY's personal effects to the NHB. Indeed, we gave many of our father's personal items to the NHB to exhibit -- a gift that the NHB tried to return after "someone senior" ordered them to unwind the gift.
We again note that the estate's residual items fall under the executors of our father's estate (which neither Ho Ching nor Hsien Loong were for any of the seven drafts of the will) -- not the beneficiaries or the PMO. The executors of LKY's estate never authorized Ho Ching to remove the items she admits to removing. Informing the executors after the fact does not give her the right to intermeddle.
Having a Lee saga now is only a distraction.
