I believe in institutions and fair play. Laws are to apply fairly, not suka suka apply them only when it serves their purpose. In state vs Tey, there is NO case.
To state that Tey would have got off on the charges if he shows some love is ludicrous. But it is totally acceptable to PAPpies like you. Only a fool can follow the logic.

Agree. I mentioned in one of my earlier post that if Tey had bought her a Hermes handbag, a Chopard watch, paid for their overseas trip, gave ang pow to her parents etc, Tey would have been Ng Boon Gay number 2.

Tey did not give Tan Siong Thye a chance to acquit him. TST may be straight as an arrow but at least give him a chance, eh?

CPIB is well-known to make arrests in the early hours of the morning. Many of my ex-colleagues kena this way. My guess is that such arrests so early in the morning will 'disorientate' you and make you more ka por luan. Intel (ISA) cases, on the other hand, prefers midnight arrests. Makes interrogation easier when you are at your weakest (going to bed).

His rationale for verdict is a joke. One party wants sex, the other party wants love and he concludes that the party that sought sex is corrupt.

He didn't mention anything about the actions of CPIB. Why? It was obvious that CPIB was trying to find a charge and coerced the witness to support a charge. That looks like the charge was trumped up.

Tey is probably a rotten scumbag ...but I don't think he could be charged for corruption. It is this perversion of justice that is disgusting.

Yes, she wasn't the target. Target was Tey. Without her confession, Tey would have stood a better chance. Much easier to break down female witness/suspect/accused. Hardest to break down are the seasoned criminals. More so in the absence of overwhelming evidence, overtly or covertly obtained.

The very fact that she paid for the lavish meal is already a major red alert. Which man earning more than $200 k per annum would do such a thing to a jobless student? The corrupt intent is very clear.
