$800 maintenance fee per month is not worth it. threshold number is $690 per month. once you’re condo costs over $690 per month to “maintain”, it’s time to liquidate. it will only escalate over time as condo gets older with increasing labor cost, pool leaks, plumbing clogs, electrical wiring frays, concrete spalling, etc. if yours is not freehold, remaining lease will just becum albatross around the neck.And yes the maintenance fees are forever increasing, now I pay almost $800 per quarter for nothing. That’s $3.2k when I used zero facilities for the last 1.5 years and only have low class Hongkie Cantonese and China and India whenever neighbours that harassed me with knocks on my windows and from above.
