Everyone is lazy nowadays. Nobody bothers to think analytically and translate those thoughts into words it's just too hard for most brains mine included. And then there is AI which can do all that for you just ask the question.

I could be completely off tangent. But I see maths as a body of work invented to make sense of the natural world, to explain what's been seen, and done. To standardise in order to aid understanding, reach a consensus, and enhance cooperation.
