Y and currently they have about 100 of their relatives supporting them. so the ratio now is 4 to 1. Then to lower the ratio PAP assholes bring in another 100 new citizens. in theory now the supporting ratio become 200 young : 25 old, ratio become 8 to 1.

but in real life, these 100 new citizens have got no relationship with the mr. A to mr. Y old folks. so why on earth would they support the old folks?

It just lowers the average population age with young immigrants, makes the statistics look good. Of course, some PAP clown will say they contribute to tax (what tax?) and services to the old folk (sex workers?)

I guess it means taxing these younger people. And what do we do to the older people? If it is not going towards a welfare state what is? The alternative is to support and develop existing citizens so that they can look after they own families.

these younger immigrants either come in, make money, fuck the system then balek kampong OR they come here, bring their entire kampong, make money, fuck the system then balek kampong.

either way they will only boost the population for a short while, but do not contribute to solving the problem as proposed by these idiots.

I am puzzled, maybe the million-$ minsters can enlighten!

Say, today we have 100,000 old folks, and we need to bring in 100,000 'new citizens' to average down the age.

In time to come, say 20 years down the road, and for simplicity sake, all live longer than 20 years from now, we would have 200,000 old folks to support.

What do we do then ? Bring in 200,000 'new citizens' ? What logic is government driving at?

By then, and over a period of time, true-blue local bred Singaporeans will be insignificant!

What has government did to reverse current situation despite ministers in PMO looking into issue since years back, or they intent to leave problem to next generation to solve ?

Bringing immigrants is the only means to solve problem ? Or just GDP the ministers are interested in when they are in office and paid many months of bonus?
