How to lose belly fat?

This is over-simplification of the process. You are assuming that all that goes in is absorbed. I believe the metabolism rate of different people is different.

Yes different people have different metabolic rates and yes some people are more efficient at absorbing nutrients than others. The point of balance between input and output is different for everyone.

However, this does not alter the fact that fat cannot come from nowhere. It has to come from the calories consumed regardless of where they stand in the food pyramid.

In order to lose weight, some have to put in a lot of effort while others can take it off easily. In my case, I need to spend at least 3 hours a day x 5 days exercising in order to keep my weight constant based on my current calorie intake which includes chocolate cake, croissants and ice cream on a regular basis.

If I cut down on my exercise, I have to cut down on the calories. If I don't, I'll start putting on weight.
 
TS has stated that he has done solid exercises and the results are impressive. The issue is belly fat. It's an accumulation and takes a long while to get rid off. The only way is to target exercises for that section. Standing leg crunches and squats are effective but the results will take longer. Just be patient. You know you got the results when it is hard.

Insanity. No need to even need running space to do it. Just have some space as large as an average sized room.

start cutting down on food intake, take 80% of what you usu eat.

when ordering rice outside (eg: zhup chai peng) - ask for less rice, when the uncle ask you enough (after scooping rice)- tell him to half the portion on the plate...

it is tough at first, but takes perseverance...

depending on your job, can even consider skipping a meal - not breakfast but either lunch or dinner.

then of course, must exercise...this is very important.

As I see it your main problem is that you consume too much rice to reduce your weight. Try to gradually reduce your intake of rice. It may be easier if you substitute rice with buckwheat http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=11.

By the way in the Budwig diet, buckwheat is recommended in many of the dishes.

eat less rice. if u really cannot tahan, or u become very grumpy, eat oats. oats release energy throughout the day after consumption.

Why not just take up the ketonic diet and let your body burn off all your fat. You can do carb reloads on weekends.
 
Try to mix it with polished rice. It is more palatable.

Take the Elephant brand that is sold in most organic shops and wet markets, both the red cargo rice and brown rice are not hard...very palatable
 
I was fat boy in schooldays. Not really obese but can say fat with belly. Lost belly in BMT LOL

After broke my leg and out of NS, slowly belly come back again ZZZ

But still the same. Just belly chubby not real fatty obese.

I think I know your problem.Me too went through the same phase.Cannot feel had eaten until I have a bowl of rice....even after company entertainments with the best of food money can buy.Usually go through the motion to come back for that bowl of rice.Despite the fact that my work takes me all around the globe....It's alcohol that gives me sleep.No rice,no sleep...

Medical experts don't really have an answer.But a friend who is a specialist gave me a clue.It is all about your stomach sending signals to your brains.Since we are basically rice eaters and our mothers had fed us rice day and night;so we are sort of programmed.But I still cannot figure outwhy some of us escapes the syndrome.Perhaps,there are other matters that compounds the seriousness.

TCM has some answers.....it connects sleep to the function of liver.When your liver functions overdrive ,you cannot sleep.But I still can't connect why full rice meal gives me a sleep.

Anyway,I had overcome the syndrome now.I can now sleep with light meal.Rice no more in the equation.How?.....I can't really put a finger as to which method among the various I used that gave me the salvation.But the important thing is to recognize the problem.

When I broke my leg in NS, hospital warded in and out and hospital bills horrible after MINDEF said OK no more NS but my family pay ourselves.
