Yes, for a person who wants to lose weight. He/she must really value his breakfast. Eat Heavy and good one ........But don't try to eat BEE HOON MEE with eggs , chicken wing ......Luncheon meat. It all deep fried.

Try taking Porridge ..........and eat some malay food ...

I always avoid the fried food with bee hoon - reason being, I have never seen the stall frying these things from scratch early morning...so the logical conclusion is, these are leftovers from the day before....:O

i will sooner get cancer eating such double-fried stuff.

My mind is blank when looking at hawker food and thinking what is no carbs...

I just ate roast duck rice with roast pork for lunch...

Steak and potato are best. You see most Olympic gold medals won by people eating steak and potato?

Depends on your genes lah. If your family members are in the pink of health, congrats. You can get away with a lousy diet and lifestyle. :)

I think I have to start slow.

Running for 15mins feels like forever...I cannot swim so swimming is out.

I already started running but the next day, my knees will hurt and cannot climb the stairs...:(

Did u check out my insanity work out and p-90x?

I'm going to complete insanity. I'm on gst training.

Dropsets to failure. That's all you need to build muscle and lose fat. :)

I get grumpy when hungry....dont you guys react the same way too?

The trick is to cut down gradually so that yr system can adjust to it. You dont slash yr input by half from the word GO. BTW, how long did you take to become fat? 5 yrs? 10 yrs? And you expect to get rid of it in 2 weeks?

I try to eat as little carbo as possible now - rice, noodles, bread, potato.......etc. Just eat meat, vege and fruits till I'm 80% full.

You have to accept he fact that once you reach middle age, your metabolism rate goes down and it is more difficult to lose fat so unless you work out everyday, you are bound to have some fats. I have also cut down a lot on alcohol (esp beer) now as it not only give you a bigger belly, it also takes a long time now to recover from a hangover the following day.

My biggest headache is having to visit my tailor more often now as my waist and neck lines keep expanding............

Drop Sets, Super Sets, Compound Sets, Running the Rack are all methods to break the plateau or to shock your body from routine to have additional growth. It is not a sustainable long term training plan, unless you don't do it to failure, which defeat the very purpose of Drop Sets.

I tried hot yoga the other day and it was terrible.

Doing yoga in a room that is over 40 degrees is really tough. I almost died there but it did make me sweat a lot.

The next day, my tummy was much flater. Even my friends noticed it.

Thinking if I should sign up for the class. Quite expensive. 50 lessons at 1400 plus.

agree with you. Once a week i set aside a session where i do what used to called 'Instinctive Training ' This is when i do either Drop Sets and some Supersets.
Its like you say....to break the training monotony and to stimulate growth.
I cant do too much heavy stuff these days becos of my age but i do exercise daily and sometimes twice a day to keep fit.

I'm also starting up on interminttent fasting. I have just tried a 24 hr fast and have gotten used to the different body hunger urges.

Try 16 hr fast and eat during 8 hr period. Calculate your body's daily calorie needs online using your height and weight and if possible get your bodyfat percentage. Plug all of that in and you'll get your daily calorie needs and minus 500 calories from that.

I'm also doing more intense cardio by running 20 mins sprints on the threadmill on top of my weights training.

Here's the experiment done by Dr. John Berardi using himself as the subject on Intermittent Fasting.

He was already very lean at 10% bodyfat and he dropped to 4% bodyfat. This works for anyone and not just for bodybuilders and fyi bodybuilders don't use this diet.
