Just wanted to say I went to Darling Harbour today. It has been a long time since I have been to the city. We walked around the CBD, and the stink of urine was everywhere on the streets, it was enough to make you vomit. The rubbish, and the cigarette buds were everywhere. I never was so disgusted. We finally made it down to the harbour and it was like spot the Aussie.

We sat down at one of those overpriced seafood restaurants on the water and bought a seafood platter for 2. Nothing on that platter had any taste. There were like 3 Thai dipping sauces and the most repulsive cheap fried seafood imaginable. As I gazed around the room, I saw a room filled with obnoxious chinese in designer clothes. My husband and I looked at each other totally repulsed with what has happed to Sydney. The food, I wouldn't have given it to my dog. I reckon it's cheap Vietnamese imported seafood. I just hope I don't have food poisoning.
Anyways, it was so dirty and hardly and whites anymore. Where have all the whites gone? Can someone tell me?

Reinforces what I've always said - there are racist people everywhere. Luckily in most cases in most countries (inc. Singapore and Australia) it's the minority. Quantas ....Poeh!! most atrocious airline I have ever sat in and I travel to all parts of the world on a regular basis. Only sat on this airline ,once ,20 years before and as recent as 4 years ago, and the service still sucks. It has not changed. Both cabin crew and white passengers do not hide their disdain for Asians.They will not serve your meals and that happened to me 20 years ago. Recently, we had a grouchy white woman seated behind fussing about because we moved our seat back just so little but enough to have her give us a tirade as if we had anything to do with this bum airline's narrow seating arrangements. I have lived in the US and the UK, and I never liked the Kangkaroo eaters.Loud mouth Baboons reeking of beer stenched breaths.

australia and australians are the very worst of the worse in the world. we all know australia is a very screwed up country with house prices that are among the highest in the world - and now sydney is more expensive to live in than new york, where to afford the median 400K house it takes A$ 104K in income otherwise no bank loan, where homelessness is now a big problem with people living on the streets, where food is so expensive some people cant afford to eat, where you have to pay 10% GST, where taxes are so high some people are paying 50%+ in direct and indirect taxation, where you are forced to buy health cover - when you are supposed to get it for free!

there are thousands of reasons why australia is so a terrible, racist country, but to describle the spectaular fall in the A$ will take long to explain. suffice it to say australia and australians are in deep trouble.

Given that airline tickets are not cheap, it would only be a one time lesson time in bad experience (confirmation on the return flight) if one is not too foolish to try a lousy airline again.

I have taken Qantas once and I didn't like it. Their flights are NOT punctual-delayed on both legs of the journey. The inflight service was marginal to the point of being a budget airline standard. The flight attendants were there simply to serve the 2 main meals PERIOD, anything more meant going beyond their service requirements; in othe words they are doing you a favour by serving anything extra (self service water outlet at the toilet MATE)
