This clogged-up drain may become a breeding ground for mosquitoes, worries STOMPer gsc, especially since the drain is right below a childcare centre in Choa Chu Kang.

The STOMPer is concerned:

"I called the Hong Kah Town Council on Thursday, Aug 5, to report the choked drain below the childcare centre at block 634 in Choa Chu Kang North 5.

"But until today, I have yet to hear from them.

"Is it that they simply can't be bothered?

"What if the kids in the childcare centre catch dengue fever because Aedes mosquitoes breed in the drain?"

Clearly choked Drains is the job of HDB and PUB, stomper knocked the wrong door.

TCs and grassroots are very busy with NDP, YOGs and the usual PLPs and the
organising of pasar malam and line dancing.
