Wasn't hungry so did something light, sausages and ham and salad at Hobbito Sausages (as in Hobbit) in Biei

Want to say something about driving in Hokkaido (no comment about other parts of Japan as I've not driven there). Main highway is named Hokkaido Highway and there are many other highways here.

Speed limit in towns, cities and farmland are mostly 40 and 50 km/h so far two days of driving not see 60. Highway speed limits are 80 km/h.

All of us may have thought Japanese are very disciplined for example they don't cross the road if traffic light is red even though road is empty and not a car in sight. But mostly drive faster than the stated speed limits for example 50km/h they may drive at 70km/h and in the highway 80 km/hthey will mostly be driving 100km/h and many 120km/h. So this is something strange for me. Obviously I follow suit la.

Speaking of the devil, I'm having my tamtam lunch ramen at a shop near a garden and this is the first time I have roasted garlic with ramen, it's this thing sure made a lot of difference to any ramen. Chef told me they call it garlic chips. Damn it's really good and I'm posting this while still at the shop.
