I once knew an ex-SPF guy who was part of Ho Ching's close protection/chauffeur team.

Ho Ching was easily one of the most unpleasant person to work under. Not only did she insist she wanted her car to always be spotless, but even inside the car the aircon must be at the right temperature and the vents positioned in the right manner, otherwise she will refuse to get in the car and in some cases even demand for a change in car (she always has multiple spares of the same type provided by SPF).

Also, my friend said that it was very obvious to everybody who saw Ho Ching interact with Lee Hsien Loong who exactly wore the pants in their marriage. Our former PM was one fucking henpecked husband. Calling Ho Ching "Empress Cixi" is not far off the mark.
