A road in Chai Chee was flooded due to heavy rain that poured down in the wee hours of Tuesday morning (Oct 15), reported STOMPer Samantha.
In her report, the STOMPer wrote:
"The thunderstorm that occurred at around 5am flooded parts of Chai Chee Road which were near to New Upper Changi Road.
"The flood made these two roads seems almost impossible for cars to go through."

A contributor named Liu informed online journalism website STOMP that Trengganu Street was flooded with ankle-deep rainwater after a heavy downpour on Sunday, Oct 13.
Liu said that Trengganu Street along Chinatown is often affected by floods on rainy days, and suggested that the area's drainage system may not be adequate for redirecting the rainwater, which caused the ankle-deep flood yesterday.
Liu added, "I hope that the authorities can find a solution as quickly as possible because this flooding causes a hazard for both the business operators as well as the many tourists who visit Chinatown."
The contributor also expressed concern for the flooding situation as "Chinatown is a popular tourist attraction, and the flood may also tarnish Singapore's reputation as one of the world's best tourism spot."

it is ponding and pls dont say flooding as no amount of engineering can prevent flooding.
i love pap. majulah singapura

what is new... marina barrage obviously over cost but under performed. singtel failed, ISD (MSK) failed, we better get used to more failure (epic proportion) eventually.
