I am told no vacant slots for Mandai Crematory Service on all Saturdays. All stand by for Prataman.

So when his cremation falls on a Saturday, you know you heard it here.

So... Will it be cremation on a Saturday?

Singapore mourns passing of former president S R Nathan

Yahoo Newsroom•August 23, 2016

Following the death of former president S R Nathan on Monday night (22 August), Singapore mourned his passing on Tuesday (23 August) as state flags on all government buildings were flown at half mast, and condolence boards were set up outside the Istana from 6am for members of the public to write tribute messages. The casket with Nathan's body arrived at his home on Ceylon Road at around 10:45am.

The public can pay their last respects at Parliament House, where Nathan's body will lie in state, from 10am to 8pm on Thursday (25 August).

Members of the diplomatic corps and other officials can pay their last respects from 9am till 12pm on Friday (26 August).

Afterwards, the State Funeral Service will take place from 4pm at the University Cultural Centre (NUS). It will be attended by Nathan’s family, friends and former colleagues, the President, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament and civil servants, among others. This will be followed by a private cremation at Mandai Crematorium.

Will we get booed or even arrested if dress in red to see the coffin?

I wouldn't dress in red if I wanted to pay my respects. A bigger "if" to even consider turning up... :o:o:o
