It doesn't need to be direct funding. TPL's arrangement with Sunseap Energy to relieve the energy costs for the old folks in her constituency is already a worthy effort, not to mention that she regularly walks her rounds in her constituency. Did you ever see GMS making any walk-arounds other than probably the last 2 weeks or even not so because he'll claim that due to Covid-19, he cannot do any walk-arounds anymore. This jerk appears only during election times and is such a despicable to even get his young daughter involved in this GE.
Not that I'm for the PAP, but there are some good ones which we should not condemned. Even Lily Neo is also a respectable PAP MP. In my opinion, even that Penang Cow has been doing a good job and Tharman is also quite well-liked. But if you tell me MPs like Jo Teo, Grace Fu, Chan Chun Sing, Raymond Lim (ex-PAP), Mah Bow Tan (ex-PAP, aka Marlboro Tan), etc, all these are those that really cannot make it. And to make matters worse, they not only won't apologize, but will never admit their mistakes as well.
