Of course it matters. Foreign domestic workers are less likely to be "ring-fenced" than other types of foreign workers. :cautious:
But this is an imported case. Full health safety measures apply. Definitely isolated and quarantined until cleared.

So again I ask does it really matter?

In any event, why should the domestic foreign workers be ring fenced now?

We don't know enough about how these cases are handled to be confident whether it really matters or not. But just for the sake of debate, I'll ask this question.
People who come to SG from overseas are given a stay at home order and tested during their stay at home order. Where does the maid stay during her stay at home order?

In future, perhaps you should do some fact checking before making such assumptions.

I have asked my domestic foreign worker viz this very same issue. I gather the DFW returning from overseas would have to be put up in a designated facility (eg government approved hotels) for the 14 day period and will only be given clearance once tested and confirmed covid-19 free. Costs would have to borne by the DFW.

Thanks for the update. I did not make any assumptions since I asked the question where the maid would be staying and did not assume that she would be staying at her employer's home.

Glad to provide an answer.

Oh and you might have asked a question but looking at the general context of your post and your earlier ones, it still appears that you are making assumptions, negative ones at that.

It is to be in line with the subject title of this thread. In other threads with other subject matters, I try to be more positive.
