Singaporeans’ unique brand of English – Singlish, has come under attack from foreigners again.
One foreign student studying in a local polytechnic expressed his dislike for Singlish by posting on his Facebook that ‘even animals can speak better than Singaporeans.’:

A snapshot of his comment was posted by his friend on fuckwarezone forum where it went viral in cyberspace.
“This student who is currently taking a diploma in Biomedical Informatics and Engineering insulted us Singaporeans. He is on the Director’s Honours List. Another ungrateful guy that comes to Singapore?,” the enraged netizen wrote.
The latest controversy involving foreign students came barely three months after NUS PRC scholar Sun Xu caused a nationwide outrage with his now infamous remarks on there ‘being more dogs than humans in Singapore.’
