latest i heard the taxi driver already brain dead so 3 lives vanished in this accident

In that respect you and Sam are both right and wrong.

I'm referring to the Trauma response in Singapore and NZ which I'm familiar with and to Raffles Hospital in particular. The UK would probably be similar. If there's a major accident with serious injuries involved, no private facility is going to have a trauma team on standby especially at 4 am in the morning.

However, if I was going for elective surgery for a brain tumor, I'd go private and hire the best specialist in town. He'd choose the private facility in town where he holds a license to operate.

The world is good to be rid of another atheist, money worshipping, soul-less PRC.

Regardless of religion or belief, its good to know that he will be rotting in the depths of any hell.

No pity for him.

Another dumb sinkie conflating religiosity with morality.

Re: Another Fatal Accident At Bugis. Ferrari driver died!

If the picture hasn't been doctored, my earlier speculations were almost completely right. And the picture shows that the lights were in the taxi's favour.

The moment of impact

Re: Another Fatal Accident At Bugis. Ferrari driver died!

Pretty damning evidence that he was in the wrong.

While I sympathise with the deceased taxi passenger and feel sorry for the Malay bike rider & taxi driver, I am glad that the PRC bastard is dead.

Good thing here is we at have one less PRC foreign trash and I hope with his passing, his whole fucking family would change their minds about staying back here!

Fuck off to where you belong you PRC chinks!

Stop tempting jar_mustafa!

Fucking PAPpies don't know what "negative externalities" is.

and when will that be?

Currently, it isn't growing and it's benign so my doctor has opted for a "watchful waiting" approach. If it starts to grow bigger, an operation will be required but it's fraught with risk so he says it's best to put it off for as long as possible.

boss,

ok,ok...you win! twit!

when that happen to you, can you please let us know if you prefer doctors in private or public profession to treat you!:p

All you're doing is providing further displays of your ignorance.

This alone should tell you what sort of service they provide. It's for people who have stepped on a nail or cut themselves open with a kitchen knife.

Serious injuries from high speed road accidents require a whole team of specialists :

Neurologists need to determine there is no brain damage or trauma. An operation may well be required if the brain starts to swell.

Orthopedic surgeons are required to wire together shattered bones, stabilise spinal injuries, treat broken pelvises to prevent death from major bleeding which can occur from such breaks.

Spleens and kidneys could be ruptured. Lungs could have collapsed. Nerves could be severed. Bowels could be spilling their contents into other body cavities.

Very often, an MRI from tip to toe is required to access the damage.

Taking an accident victim to a nearby hospital not equipped to handle such cases does nothing but delay potentially life saving intervention.

oh sorry to hear about this... i wasnt aware it was a brain tumour.

Sam,regret it's still out of your depth.

Rephrased, try having an accident that requires trauma response in Indonesia,India,Cambodia ,Papua New Guinea and etc.in government hospitals. It doesn't matter whether at 4AM or 4PM.Only than you would understand that not all countries operates like Singapore.

Besides, even for most patients with traumatic conditions in Singapore. The trauma specialist on duty only stabilize their conditions so that they are operated first thing in the morning tomorrow.

Try having a heart attack during the Chinese New Year first two days and see whether specialist in SGH rush to operate on you.You still wait.Wait out the next two days with nursing care.

You are out of touch with reality Sam.

Now we know the cause of your twitching eye

That's common sense. Even a 16 yr old kid who from a schooling perspective and watching TV will tell you without even blinking an eye.

Y
I had gone through trauma procedures a couple of times oversea. In in those countries ,it's the private hospitals that gave me that extra edge because my insurance covers it.

1. I didn't mention is single third world country such Indo, PNG etc in any of my posts. If you're seriously injured in these sorts of countries, you're pretty much screwed. Your best chance of survival is evacuation asap.

2. In Singapore, in NZ, in OZ, places that I'm familiar with, if you have an accident and your brain is swelling, there is no such thing as stabilisation. You need a freakin' hole drilled in your skull IMMEDIATELY.

3. A heart attack is not a medical emergency once they've got the heart going again and wired you up. You can wait in limbo for days in any country while the doctors decide the best course of action.
