I am a ex-banker myself; I know bankers and screw them for their lousy rate.
When you TT, you pay com in Singapore and Malaysia.

I have done both. I save more when I just give a cheque in JB Bank.

My banker in Johor give me 2.463 when XE and Natdania show 2.473. My banker at UOB (name Terrence) told me board rate is 2.442. Hence 2.463 is a great rate.

The best for big amount is give a cheque to JB banker. (also safest)

The best rate for small amount is Deposit Cash.

You can use the cash deposit machine if you are bringing cash across. My banker said anything can be done at least done get caught.
