Football is cyclical. Germany had its day in the sun, now the good players have all retired or are on their last legs.

Time to rebuild.

Delighted to watch England defeat Germany 2 to 0, to proceed to the quarterfinals, to play either Sweden or Ukraine.

Other than Spain and Italy (both hardcore Catholic countries), all the countries that won have a cross on their flag.

Up next: Sweden.

Praise be to Jesus!

I do not believe that Italy and Spain are hard-core Roman Catholics.
The countries with a cross on their flags are: Denmark, Finland Iceland, Norway, Sweden, England.
No cross on Belgium, Italy, Spain, Ukraine (the blue represent the sky and the yellow on the bottom, the wheat fields)

Actually scoreline is 2-0.

England yet to concede a goal at Euros. The only team left that has yet to concede a goal. During group stages only Italy and England has 0 goals against. But Italy conceded a goal to Austria in the round of 16 knockout game.

England defence holding strong

I see.

Would you be suprised that this was only England's second-ever knockout win at a European Championship?

That's how poor they have been at the Euros in the past.
I have always been watching Euro and World Cup, since 1970.
Re-arranging my client appointments, and not making appointments during the 3 to 4 week period.
Or when I am at a client, I inform them that I will be taking an extended lunch to watch the soccer game.

I think if I did that the CPSA would come after my sorry ass. LOL!

Drs aren't even allowed to go on strike even if they had legitimate reasons to do so.:unsure::unsure:
