What does digital coaching for seniors involve? Are they taught how to use nudevista.com to search for porn?

What does digital coaching for seniors involve? Are they taught how to use nudevista.com to search for porn?

Mainly teaching seniors how to use their smartphones to carry out functions like how to Whatsapp, scan QR codes and make e-payments.
Searching for porn is on a "strictly-confidential on-request off-the-record basis".

HSK visited residents and stallholders in Bedok.

Heng Swee Keat

10 July at 19:04·

Ahead of the re-opening under Phase 3 (Heightened Alert) on 12 July, I visited Blocks 25, 26 and 58 in Bedok yesterday to catch up with our stallholders and residents.
Many stallholders are happy that the pandemic situation is under control and that more people are allowed to dine in soon. I reminded our stallholders and residents to continue to do our part to keep our community safe.
I also met many seniors who were glad to come out and see their friends and neighbours. We exchanged our COVID-19 vaccine experience. I am delighted that most of them are fully vaccinated.
I have come to love these visits and try to do so every chance I get. Many faces have become much more like family, and I am glad to see everyone in good spirits and to feel the vibrancy in our heartland. Despite all the difficulties, I am also confident that as long as we stay united, we can overcome this pandemic together.

HSK speaks at FutureChina Global Forum.

Heng Swee Keat

22 hrs·

Today is the first day of Phase 3 (Heightened Alert). Glad to be able to meet both new and familiar faces at the FutureChina Global Forum — one of the larger-scale hybrid events I have attended in recent months, with some 150 participants physically present, and many more attending virtually.
We are living in a world of growing uncertainty, with changes occurring ever more swiftly. So the theme of today’s Conference — that we are in a state of “never normal”, is most appropriate. Against this backdrop, we are marking three decades of ASEAN-China dialogue relations. I shared on how we can create new building blocks of cooperation, in new areas such as digital collaboration and sustainable development. You can read my full speech here: https://go.gov.sg/futurechina12jul
I also enjoyed the lively dialogue with my fellow panellists. We had a good exchange of views on the new opportunities and challenges ahead, including on key trends like the digital economy and climate change. The Chinese characters for crisis is 危机 — it means both "danger" and "opportunities". It reflects that there is opportunity in every crisis. I am confident that if we work together, not just between China and ASEAN, but also with all other countries, we will overcome this crisis and progress together.

HSK meets Bapak Airlangga.

Heng Swee Keat

25 mins·

Glad to have met Bapak Airlangga Hartarto today on the side lines of Asia Tech x Singapore. Bapak Airlangga is the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs.
Bapak Airlangga told me that this was his first overseas trip in a long while, and I am glad that he decided to make Singapore his port of call. Having kept in touch virtually, it was good to continue our conversation in person this time.
Bapak Airlangga handles many important portfolios, including on the economy and health. We discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation, including in areas such as digital economy and tech.
Bapak Airlangga spoke at the Summit later that day on Indonesia’s perspectives on global governance and development cooperation. These issues are especially salient during these COVID-19 times, as Indonesia prepares to assume the G20 Presidency next year.
As close neighbours, Singapore and Indonesia have supported each other in weathering the pandemic. I look forward to our continued cooperation to take our relationship to greater heights.

HSK has fun with Bedok residents.

You will soon see colourful “giants” come to life at Bedok Community Centre as well as at Bedok Community Plaza.
I had a fun time with residents last week decorating 30 giant standees that will take their positions in our estate soon, as part of the PassionArts — Art Giants in Harmony. The artwork is designed and inspired by local artist Toh Bee Suan’s (Almostasthma) dream-scape of marine life. Bee Suan incorporated an AR filter effect where users can scan the Art Giants to see the marine creatures come “alive”.
Can’t wait to see the “giants” in our neighbourhood soon! If you happen to see these ‘giant’ marine life ‘swimming’ in Bedok, comment below and share pictures with me!
You can join us too, and contribute to creating our vibrant East Coast! We will be painting 30 more giants this coming weekend, sign up here: https://form.gov.sg/#!/60c888e7741a2e001243e615.

HSK meets VIP - LeoBot.

Heng Swee Keat

3 hrs·

When you watch Stars Wars, you are given a glimpse of how humans and robots can live and interact seamlessly with one another. This future is not just reel, but real!
Meet LeoBot, an automated cleaning robot. I encountered LeoBot when it was at work cleaning The Treasury. Yesterday, I had the chance to meet the team behind Leobot when I visited the Robotics Research Centre at NTU.
I liked how the robot is humanised and has its own personality. They not only augment the work of cleaning crews, but can also greet people who walk past. You may also have encountered LeoBots at work at different places, including at Jewel Changi Airport.
I also saw how other robots help boost productivity and reduce manpower needs in sectors such as construction and facilities management. Given our aging population, reducing our manpower demands and creating better jobs that complement automation will help our companies thrive and our workers grow.
Kudos to the National Robotics Programme Office and our scientists and researchers in this field — including those from SUTD Singapore University of Technology & Design — for all your good work and for bringing over the robots for the demonstration!

HSK planting trees again.

Heng Swee Keat

12 hrs·

This week, 12 to 18 July, marks the Climate Action Week 2021! To show our support here in Bedok, I joined residents of Bedok Bougainvillea to plant 10 trees — 5 Cleistanthus malaccensis and 5 Dendrolobium umbellatum — in front of Block 26 Upper Changi Road last Saturday.
After that, we walked about Bedok, where I met a few younger residents — Kayson showed me his homework and Desiree taught me how to pose for the camera. ✌ It got me thinking — by the time these little ones grow up, the saplings we planted will have grown into large trees, providing shade and clean air. May our children and future generations grow up in a home that is green, beautiful and sustainable.

Planted the Cleistanthus Malaccensis last weekend. These trees are native and nationally extinct, which means they are not commonly found in nature anymore. Besides having good soil, sufficient water and ample sunlight for the plant, teamwork is also important to ensure that the tree is properly planted into the tree hole.

HSK comments on ktv covid cluster.

Heng Swee Keat

43 mins·

The emergence of new COVID-19 clusters this week — especially the KTV cluster — has shown just how fast the virus can spread. We are now aggressively ringfencing the cases to contain the spread in the community.
We are disappointed by the latest setback to our re-opening plans. To further mitigate community spread, F&B dining-in will be dialled back to groups of up to 2 persons. But individuals who are fully vaccinated can continue to dine-in in groups of up to 5 persons, if the F&B establishments have put in place systems to check their vaccination status. This will take effect from next Monday and will last till 8 August. We are also adjusting the guidelines for other indoor mask-off activities.
This episode is an important reminder that each of us has a responsibility, not just to ourselves, but to our family and the community. Let us also press on with our vaccination programme, and encourage those around us who have not been vaccinated to step forward.

HSK opens edible gardens.

Heng Swee Keat

11 hrs·

Welcome to Bedok’s farm-to-table ‘restaurants’ — our households in Bedok Bougainvillea! Last week, residents harvested healthy kangkong, spinach and chye sim from the nearby edible garden near Block 26 Upper Changi Road. They then walked home with the fresh produce, to whip up healthy, delicious meals for the whole family.
I was honoured to officially open the edible garden, which was a labour of love by one of our residents, Mr Sim Boh Huat. He grew up on a farm and is passionate about gardening. He shared his idea for such a garden with the Bougainvillea RC and Town Council, and together with fellow residents and neighbours, they took his idea and created this lovely plot, which Mr Sim and his neighbours tend to lovingly every day.
They are excited to share the fruits of their labour with residents. If you are keen to join, you can look out for the next harvesting day on We Love Bedok Facebook page.
