“I am a Canadian,
a free Canadian,
free to speak without fear,
free to worship in my own way,
free to stand for what I think right,
free to oppose what I believe wrong,
or free to choose those
who shall govern my country.
This heritage of freedom
I pledge to uphold
for myself and all mankind.”
— John Diefenbaker
13th Prime Minister of Canada
June 21, 1957 – April 22, 1963
Oh by the way, Diefenbaker was a progressive conservative, which no longer exists today according to living-in-Singapore winnipegjets. So maybe those words from Diefenbaker cuts no ice with winnipegjets. It is winnipegjets' way or the highway. To me that's very "Singaporean mindset". But what would I know? I'm just an Albertan.
Don't be an idiot ...read the newspaper, not just the right-wing kind. Winnipegjets' way or the highway? I am not that intolerant like you. I am always game for an exchange of ideas.
Here's your problem ...instead of embracing Canada, you cling on provincialism.
