I know this is an old post, but I totally feel your frustration. We had a similar issue with a fridge that went out way too soon. After going through the same endless calls with customer service, we eventually gave up on them and went local. We used Appliance Repair, Nashville, and they actually got things fixed properly without all the hassle. It’s crazy that a premium fridge would be considered unrepairable after just a few years. I get why you wouldn’t want another fridge from the same brand. That whole situation just sounds exhausting.
