Well, maybe it is good because you have already invested in that area. Sort of like syiok sendiri. Once IKEA open next time, the situation there is going to get worst. I knew many wanted to sell their units there too.

Some people think that staying in JB's version of Toa Payoh (Desa Tebrau) is worse than staying in Yio Chu Kang (BDO). One man's meat is another man's poison.

Take it from one who has stayed in 1 of the BDO precincts a few times, up to a week each time. Even G&G, you find the security less than desirable, e.g. contractors can stay overnight in the houses under renovation. Many children running unrully on the streets within the estate playing and chasing balls with no respect to passing traffic. Very difficult to find Chinese food, let alone good food. Ended up, I always had t drive to Taman Daya, Mt Austin or even to Johor Jaya to satisfy my stomach. 1 of the good things is you can save on alarm clock. The big "alarm clock" which sounds 5 times a day plays only 1 type of music and the alarm is preset to "ring" 5 times a day.

Aeon in BDO is a good thing, for the neighbouring tamans which is within 5 minutes drive. But living next to it experiencing frequent traffic jam is actually a negative factor.

BDO sales and subsales are comparatively cheap, but not sure if it can find interested buyers.

Tio bo?? Must be making up stories. I have knew so many friends who stayed at BDO and they really like it. If you want to eat Chinese food, just go to Adda Height. If you don't want alarm clock, just migrate lor. Wake up la, everywhere also got Alarm clock. We are used to it.

If they continue to upsize the highway to 3 lanes and keep roads smooth and free of pot holes it will surely make the journey more pleasant and faster. I am excited to see KSL condo rise from the ground and seeing the cranes from a distance.

Some of the things you described are pretty much part and parcel of living in Malaysia. Apart from the contractor thing, everything else seems normal to me.

Pasir Gudang highway is one of the most dangerous roads in JB, its unbelievable how many people have had major accidents there. Most parts are not even lit with streetlamps.

As usual, you are not talking sense. You haven't debunked my observations. Because you can't, you change track. Cities are crowded, compared to rural areas or kampong, but common people continue to prefer living in cities. Whether it's over crowded, it depends on individual. People from S'pore and Hong Kong live in more crowded environment. For that matter, Kulai or some kampongs with free durians if you grow in your own orchard is even more desirable than BDO as they are less crowded with even more greens.

Totally agree. Different folks would have different preferences, priority etc.. That's why I said I ain't defending 1 taman from another, as against senseless people.

Cities are crowded, compared to rural areas or kampong, but common people continue to prefer living in cities. Whether it's over crowded, it depends on individual. TRying to act blurr and divert attention? Crowded areas are always not good for residential estate. Just admit it and move on. Desa Tebrau is an overrated taman. The environment is so badly maintain yet plenitude trying to sell at high price.

Definitely...... if spending so much just for a passive income, better put your money in the bank lar. Buy new house than rent it out is a dubious and desperate move too. Once your tenant destroy your lovely new house, your rental return will be needed for your house repair.
