KNN the cyclist was in the wrong for challenging the driver and throwing the bottle but was not wrong to take up the lane as pap allows that KNN but driver was obviously wrong to bang down a cyclist deliberately KNNyou are right.
cyclist was in the wrong
KNN the lorry driver should have swerved tactically instead of abruptly to land himself into trouble KNN
KNN when the traffic rules is brought to court it is also an offence to react suddenly and step on accelerator KNN this falls under category of reckless driving KNNThe lorry driver reacted thus because of the noises SUDDENLY coming from his left side. There are many instances of drivers stepping on the accelerator instead of the brake. It's a normal bodily reaction due to a sudden surge of adrenalin.

Cycling is fine la. As long as the cyclist is mindful of other road users, be courteous, and observe traffic rules. Basically don't be a dick.Just ban cyclists from roads. The are not licensed and do not pay road tax or ERP etc.
Roads were built for cyclists cars came later.
