Crumbling of Singapore?

Amy Khor

Based on Amy's reasoning, every SG man shd cheat on his wife, commit adultery, make love to another man's wife, get caught and dont admit unless threatened with exposure.

Such a man will be praised by Amy as Righteous and Honourable.

With such values, Amy and the PAP are really in trouble!!!

LHL said he was saddened by Michael Palmer's aldultery. Why shd LHL be saddened? Hello, LHL...Wld your dad say the same thing you said?

Why are you not saddened that some Singaporeans earn only $900 per month working 9hrs a day, six days a week?

why are you not saddened that some SG children go without food?

Why are you not saddened that some Singaporeans are jobless?

why were you not saddened when Mdm Koh SH and Mandy were deprieved of financial aid of $330 per month by Trans Services Centre?

why are you not saddened that some Singaporeans choose not to be medically treated for their sickness because they cant afford the high medical costs?

Is PAP led by poor leaders?

Is PAP under siege?

Is PAP's present sad situation a result of recruiting wrong talents because of the introduction of GRCs in 1988?

things would be vastly different if WP taken Eunos GRC in 88. FS would had the old man standing up at every Parliamentary sessions.

LKY had to, by hook or by crook, deny JBJ, FS and TLH into Parliament. LKY was afraid of them.

Did you watch the debate between LKY, PM of SG and FS, President, Law Society.

It was a disaster for LKY.

After that debate, LKY knew he had to stop the three from getting into parliament. He had a phobia and became so neurotic that he was also afraid when CJS surfaced in 1992

You know Rumpole?

No. I found that comment that Rumpole = Prof Tey intriguing but I don't know whether it's true.

One reason why I think it might be true because Rumpole writes in a highfalutin way that you might expect of a professor.
One reason why I think it might not be true is that I can't imagine that a person with a knife over his head and being watched like a hawk would do something incredibly reckless like that.

You make good sense

I always thought that narrow loss in Eunos GRC was the making of history. After that, that part of Singapore would be the most gerrymandered portion of Singapore. Afterwards, there would be a norm set: the eastern part of Singapore would be the portion most likely to vote opposition. What happened in Hougang in 1991, what almost happened in Cheng San in 1997 I think was a result of Eunos. Suppose Francis Sewo had run in Jurong instead, maybe it would have been the west of Singapore being the opposition stronghold today.

The "fact" that the opposition "never won a GRC for more than 20 years" is not that significant when you consider how close the PAP was to losing Eunos in 1988. If that had happened, the history of Singapore would have been extremely different.

the best debate me ever saw live on tv, wonder if SBC still has the tape recordings... would it even see daylight? :p:p:p

i still question whether the loss of Cheng San was a blessing in disguise

i agree...it was a huge embarrassment for LKY to be out debated by FS until LKY was speechless which left him fuming. The recording is still around but we will nvr get to see it from official sources.

Some one must have it in their private possession

KLT said he will not stand for election..so you are freed of that pledge
