Very true that chow Ah Tiongs can contaminate food here though not proven. That is why I only buy made in Europe biscuits, 2nd choice Malaysian made. European biscuits are more expensive but taste heaps better with high quality ingredients. You sometimes get good discounts too. Go & grab those made in Belgium dark chocolate biscuits from Fairprice priced @$2.50 its got tons of excellent high grade thick dark choc on top of the biscuits, 12 yummylicious pieces in one packet. Worth every single cent you paid for but remember to store in a fridge otherwise choc will melt.
Similarly for food like jam, I buy only Aussie, American or European.
