Chitchat Chootchiew type of soccer questions

Due to doctor advise of potential high risk of retina detachment I was not allowed to play football. I play ping pong and was a top player then :D

Surprisingly though I wasn't a cheena Chong I was very good in ping pong.
The only reason I like it was because I had a natural flair and I enjoyed beating all the cheena chongs at their own game.
I was good enough to be selected for the KFC program. If you had to ask what that is then we are obviously not from the same era

1. Free kick and human wall
When a free kick is given near the goal pole, the team would form a human wall to block the ball. Wtf the team given the free kick also help to form the wall ?

2. Offside
As you should be aware, offsides are given if the striker go in front of the defender before the ball is passed to him. In this case if the defender all stand in middle of the field, means all the goondu players of the opponent will be forced to park before the midfield . Am I right to say that ?

3. Last person to touch the ball and ball went out of line. In this case, the other team would be given a throw in. But I notice this is not always the case. I always see the team that kick the ball out given the throw in. Is it got some other hidden rules or referee kah yew and kelong ?

4. Silly but valid question.
Why all the goondu players need to pass here pass there and then try to score. Can't they just station all at the scoring end and the goalie kick the ball very far .they can save all the energy to pass Lai pass kee.

Nothing wrong with your football IQ. Its your mental IQ that is in question when you ask these stupid questions.

Answer to Question 1 - Human Wall.

Sometimes, the team receiving the free kick will deliberately have its own players in the wall. Its like infiltrating. They are not helping the other team to form the wall. The purpose for the kicking team to have their own players form part of the wall can be for several reasons. One reason is to block the goalie's view, so that when the ball is kicked, the kicking team's players that are in the wall may duck and create a gap for the ball to go through the wall.

Offsides:

If Red team's defender stands on the halfway line in the middle of the field as you say and he is the last defender, any Blue team player that is past him before the blue team kicks the ball to him is offsides. But if the ball is kick into the empty space behind the Red team defender by the Blue team, and another Blue team player is not past the red team defender at the time the ball is kick and outruns the Red Team defender to the ball, then he is still onside. So you better hope that the last Red team defender at the middle of the field is the faster man on the field and also 100% guaranteed to win the ball from the Blue team forward. Otherwise, the blue team forward is one on one with the goalie.

For the human wall, the chances for the kickers team to block the ball is higher than doing good in my opinion.

That means you likely born in 1967 to 1970

According to the rules, you cannot be offside if you are in your own half when the ball is kicked, even if there is no defender between you and the goal. :D

Trying to digest the meaning :D

Actually the offside rule states that there must be at least 2 opposing players between you and the opponent's goal when the ball is kicked from behind you. Usually one of the opposing players is the opponent's goalkeeper, but not always. This also means that if your team mate has run ahead and passes the ball back to you, you cannot be offside. :D

With your certificate in fas can you comment the human wall. Isn't putting player of the kicking team adding more shield instead of helping since the ball travel so fast .

The attacking team players are supposed to duck or move away when the kick is taken. It is hoped that there will be gaps in the wall for the kicker to score. Of course, what happens sometimes is that the attacking team players block their team mate's shot. :D
