Every year Uni must increase fees? It is statutuory? Must increase one huh/

No this year no Uni fee hike, we must be grateful huh?

Where many industries are retrenching staff and cutting salaries, are our unis doing that?

With the electricity/water bills decreasing, are our unis cutting the fees?

What kind of logic is that Unis must increase fees every year and if they don't, they are doing us a favor?

Why nobody ask the question, where did they get the money to subsidized the SINgapore citizens?, they contribute part of their renumeration to a common fund, and use that?

It is not 'free lunch', money comes from revenues, earned from taxes, like GST, ERP ( Every day rob people), TV Licences..property & perosnla taxes..etc..etec..etc..

In other words, you have already paid indirectly for the subsidies...

Every time people remind me of TV Licences make my blood boil, pay them $ to bombard me with little noya publicity, flooded all nonsence advertisement.

Low standard yet want to collect fee, even 3rd world country TV program is higher standard than Mediacock but people broadcast free to their citizen to enjoy. Sucker here want money even car radio have to pay
