PAP people being paid millions every year still can cock up until so terok. Very bad very bad.
oh you remind me, MOE got Chief Information Officer but Singapore is like that.

When commoners make any mistake, the country whacks them hard, no mercy.

When civil service flops, at worst, the personal-in-charge gets bailed out and transferred to any ministry or department.

More Singaporeans and Businesses Are Going Bankrupt, But The Economy Is “Fine”

In fact, as you will see below, most Singaporeans in private-sector, believe that the Singapore is currently experiencing a recession. Large employers have been conducting mass layoffs in the past 12 months, the cost of living crisis is crushing working families, and the number of mortgagee sales has jumped. Even though local Singaporeans are deeply hurting and running low on disposable cash, we are just supposed to pretend that everyday is sunshine and lollipops.

waiting for my next $200-400 handouts.

mortgagee sales increased

those who voted for PAP, deserve every fucking bit of their misery...
DEBTS, DIVORCE, DEPRESSION, DESTITUTION AND DEATH (SUICIDE).
our media don't dare to mention 5Cs anymore.

Large scale immigration is destructive for the middle-class and only benefits the government and rich.

Remember where inflation really comes from.

  • Our god-damned COE creates the most profitable automotive industry for any country. One delivery van in Singapore can buy 4 in most countries.
  • Our GST increased despite the steepest inflation in recent memories.
  • Despite our limited resources, we brought in numerous foreigners.
  • Industrial property rentals surged.
  • Most of your commercial malls are owned by GLCs or HDB.

Our Youths May Never Retire

Think about how many years, our youths must work to pay off their housing and car loans if they don't get financial support from their parents. This is the reality and accepted by our seniors today; many are helping their kids with downpayments and even wedding expenses.

With our self-inflicted, ever-rising cost-of-living, our purchasing power is a shrinking piece of pie every year. While the seniors have it hedged with their residential properties, retirement will be less affordable for our youths.

Many will be living hand-to-mouth, month-to-month because of their debts due to asset ownership. Many will be working till they die, be it part-time or full-time.

Ok, let's say they avoided home ownership and look at the huge cost of retirement facilities, who can afford to get old in Singapore without owning a home?

The cost of living crisis is worse than the reported inflation and our economy is depending on inflation to survive. If you own properties, you are doing fine. If you don't, you are living in depression. Our young cannot afford housing, renovation and cars. They can only wait for their parents to die to inherit their property.

Our domestic economy is growing because of our ever-rising asset price and rentals. How long can our economy is propped up by asset prices?

In five years, we doubled our government debts
https://www.ceicdata.com/en/singapore/government-debt

What are the consequences of a high national debt?

  • As the national debt grows, it diverts resources away from productive investments and savings.
  • A larger debt burden requires more interest payments. Ultimately, this leads to higher taxes or spending-cuts in critical-areas such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc.
  • Excessive debt can lead to concerns about currency stability.

We can't keep going on like this.
Interest payment is out of control.
Spending is out of control.

Our taxes cannot cover the ridiculous amount that they are spending and borrowing

Are you better off today than ten years ago?
- Oil price is only half of what it used to be. Yet, utilities and transport costs are higher.
- Closer to your goal of owning a condo?
- Closer to your goal of owning a car?
- Can afford to eat at the mall as often?

This year, ALL our President Scholars are involved in Meet-People-Session before they were 19 years old. These kids are so scheming, such people cannot lead our civil service. There are more meaningful way to contribute to society and our President Scholars stoop so low

what are they thinking? What are their priorities? What kind of government scholars are we grooming? I would believe there are many more deserving students who don't get the President's Scholarship, simply because they never help in MPS.

All three recipients of 2024 President Scholarships, spent their youth volunteering, including sitting in on MPS (Meet-People-Session).

Ms Marianne Wang to start her journey of volunteering at just 12 years old. She started out tutoring children with non-profit Smart Guppy, and went on to volunteer with Youth Corps – an organisation that gives youth opportunities to serve their community – and at Meet-the-People Sessions (MPS).

Dylan Toh, 20, from Hwa Chong Institution, also started volunteering from a young age. The three recipients spent their youth volunteering, including sitting in on MPS, where the stories they heard spurred them to want to do more for the community. Ms Emily Tan was similarly inspired after hearing the stories of the residents she met at MPS, and seeing the trust and vulnerability shown by them.

In recent years, our education further emphasis on the importance to torturing kids for what they are weak at. In the past, we can use a stronger subject to up the overall individual PSLE score. Under the new scoring system, you can't.

  • If you get 62% for Chinese, 88% for other three subjects, you get 81.5% average under the old system.
  • Now, if you get 62% (AL6) for Chinese, 88% (AL2) for other three subjects (AL2), your total AL is 12. One slightly weaker subject constitutes half of your Total AL Score

Look at the scoring table below, Chee Bye MOE also made students assume that the new passing grade is 65%. If you get 45% or 50%, study hard for what? Improve another 10% also fall within the same AL6 grade.

Our kids are exponentially punished for weaker subjects, pushing kids to kill themselves.
